My Passion for photography began when I was 11 years old and my parents gave me a battered SLR camera to ‘play’ with.
I started shooting black and white film, and soon after i got a second-hand enlarger and darkroom bits so i began to develop and print my photos at home. It felt like I was making magic in the attic, I could see the photos appearing in the chemical trays. It was an amazing experience.
Over 20 years later, the pleasure of freezing a moment in time, is still very much with me. The chemicals and the smells may have gone, but the thrill of seeing an image appear on screen and having digital tools to manipulate it, is my darkroom.
Digital imaging means that its easier than ever to share moments and it’s an amazing feeling to be able to share the images I take with you.
